Terminalling

Tropicana Trading DMCC commenced its storage operations in India following its purchase of an existing terminal in Karwar (near Goa), West Coast India during the year 2006. Karwar is an all weather port with 7 meter draft. Karwar Terminal now has 6 tanks including 2 newly commissioned oil Product Tanks with a total capacity of 20,000 cubic meters. Located only 1.5 km from the jetty, the tanks can store class B & C products like gas oil, jet fuel/Kerosene and Fuel Oil as well as molasses, edible oils. All the tanks and pipelines are heat traced and capable of handling bitumen at 130 deg. c.

The port is still undergoing expansion/dredging activities with the aim of improving draft, berthing and docking facilities for large sea faring vessels
